Gabriel Medina records Brazilian´s Sports Ministry video campaign and talks about the new Institute
Gabriel Medina Institute´s structure became a backdrop for surfer Gabriel Medina himself for the recordings of #JOGOLIMPO video campaign (translation in English, #FAIRPLAY), hold by Brazilian Authority of Doping Control (ABCD), from National Sports Ministry. The first brazilian world surf champion is one of the anti-doping leading figures of the action, along with brazilian judo player Rafaela Silva, paralympic swimmer Daniel Dias and the national volleyball coach José Roberto Guimarães. The film was produced by 24p.
After the video shootings, Gabriel seized the opportunity to talk about the Institute, which is basically done. The opening is scheduled to January 31th.
Beachfront located, the Institute is held on the address Avenida Francisco Loup, 893, in Maresias´ Beach, in São Sebastião. The construction of the head office was funded by the surfer´s own resources, holding a wide structure of training applied by Medina himself. The young athletes will have the gym, swimming pool, elastic bed (for air trainings) and even a palanque to hold surf contests and battery simulation. Also medical offices, computer and language classes and an auditorium for lectures will be available for the new talents.
